The project “Strengthening the songs of the spirituality of Shipibo women” is the transmission of traditional songs from generation to generation of Shipibo Ancestors. The songs will be shared in the community at special events and the funds will be used to buy ancestral instruments and recordings. The objectives of the project are: to increase the value of the songs to Shipibo women; disseminate women’s songs in schools; and strengthen identity with songs.

This project will help keep the songs of the Ancestors alive and utilized in community activities.
