“We believe that a strong tribal nation protects the integrity of its culture and natural resources for many generations to come, which benefits the tribe and all Americans. A strong tribal nation is a healthy nation, which benefits people everywhere. We are all connected.”

The White Earth Indian Reservation in Northern Minnesota has experienced cultural genocide, which has led to high levels of disease, lack of cultural identity and historic trauma. However cultural, spiritual and language revitalization has begun. This project aims to increase cultural fluency amongst the community’s youth. The youth will participate in day camps that teach youth practices and language that is being lost.
